Why Preventous Cosmetic Medicine?

Who is performing my treatment? Do you have Physicians and Nurse Injectors?
We employ a highly skilled team of physicians, nurse practitioners, cosmetic nurses, and technology specialists. Our staff continuously learn from industry leaders and stay up to date on the latest in medical aesthetics through attendance at top conferences globally. We prioritize both safety and results. With our injectable fee structure, you can choose the expert that best suits your needs and budget. Regardless of who you choose, you can be confident knowing you have the highest-level of care.
How can I have Botox or what is also known as (neuromodulators) and still look natural?
Client’s seeking a “natural look” is one of the most common requests we hear. We understand you want to look refreshed and not “overdone” and we share that goal! Our Expert Injectors tailor each treatment to match your desired outcome, often taking a conservative approach on your first visit to ensure subtle, natural-looking results. In addition to your initial appointments, we also schedule a follow-up appointment two weeks after your initial treatment to determine if a touch-up is needed free of charge.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that life can be busy and plans may change unexpectedly. At Preventous, we kindly ask for at least two business days’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. If you cancel with less than two business days’ notice or fail to show, a $50 fee will be applied to your next appointment.
What happens if I am late for my appointment?
If you arrive late and there isn’t enough time to complete your treatment, we will need to reschedule your appointment. This ensures we provide you the full care and attention your treatment requires.
Can I continue my fillers and neuromodulators treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding?
We advise postponing your injectable treatments, such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers, until after pregnancy and breastfeeding. Due to the lack of comprehensive studies and clinical trials on pregnant women, your safety and well-being are our top priority. Waiting ensures the best possible outcome for both you and your child.
How is the amount of filler or neuromodulator needed for treatment determined?
Your provider will assess your preferences to determine the appropriate amount of filler or neuromodulator for your treatment. Factors such as your desired outcome, facial characteristics, age, lifestyle, budget, and available recovery time will all influence the number of syringes or units recommended.
What should I do for ‘before and after’ care?
Our providers are committed to ensuring you achieve the best possible results from your treatment. We believe that preparing your skin with medical-grade skincare can accelerate healing, minimize complications, and improve the effectiveness of treatment. You will receive detailed instructions for a successful treatment outcome in the clinic and a written copy to review later. Will my treatment hurt?
When you visit Preventous Cosmetic Medicine, our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and at ease, with minimal discomfort. We understand that treatments vary, therefore we use topical numbing creams, local anesthetics, and cooling devices to enhance your comfort throughout your procedure whenever possible.
What is the fee for my consultation?
We believe that personalized care starts with understanding your unique needs and goals. We offer complimentary consultations to ensure you receive personalized care without any obligation. This allows you to discuss your needs and options with confidence.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Virtual consultations are offered at the client’s request.
Will my consultation include the VISIA assessment?
VISIA assessments utilize a state-of-the-art imaging system and require a separate appointment. This assessment provides an in-depth look at your skin health, including underlying damage that has not yet surfaced.
Currently the VISIA assessment is only available at our 17th Ave location. If you are interested in this service, our Customer Care team can arrange to include a VISIA assessment along with your consultation at no charge.
Do both locations provide the same exceptional care?
Absolutely! Many of our providers work at both locations. Each team member is uniformly trained to ensure they deliver exceptional care and maintain the Preventous’ standard.
Who will I be meeting and what should I expect during my one hour consultation?
During your one-hour consultation, you’ll meet with one of our Cosmetic Consultants, Aesthetic Physicians, or Nurse Practitioners. We’ll discuss your goals, answer your questions and establish a customized treatment plan tailored to your short and long-term goals.
What if I want to break up my payments, is there financing?

Will I receive a detailed treatment plan including pricing?
Prior to your treatment, you will receive a comprehensive treatment plan that outlines your short-term and long-term goals, medical-grade skin care recommendations, and contact information with pricing details.
What if I have questions after my consultation and/or would like to book an appointment?

Can I return my skin care products if I have a reaction, or I am not satisfied?
Medical-grade skin care products contain a high concentration of active ingredients and are formulated with advanced delivery systems which may cause initial irritation or redness as your skin adjusts. While we have a no-return policy for these products due to safety and quality assurance, our team is committed to providing excellent follow-up care. We’ll work with you to ensure you’re confident in your regimen and make any necessary adjustments.
