How Excel V™ Works
The Excel V™ laser is a dedicated vascular laser system – meaning it employs specific wavelengths of pure laser energy (532nm and 1064nm) to target, coagulate and clear unwanted vessels. The Excel V™ is safe and clinically proven to selectively treat specific tones of reds, blues and purples of veins and vessels and leave surrounding skin tissues and structures untouched. Certain areas may require multiple treatments for optimal clearance. New veins and vessels can appear; this is common with certain predispositions and conditions like rosacea, which are progressive.
What to Expect
Depending on the treatment area, the veins or vessels may initially darken before clearing over the coming eight to 12 weeks. Certain spider veins and vessels will clear instantly. Stubborn leg veins or vessels around the nostrils commonly require multiple treatment sessions (two to three).
